vocal for local
In this pandemic outbreak when the whole world is struggling, India took oath for his prosperity as our prime minister launched vocal for local movement where he requested the people of India to buy the local products and provide supports to local venders and also urged the nation to promote the local product. people of India responded this very well, started buying general products like grains, cereals, goods made in nearby locality instead of buying products from big stores. I am also here to play my role in this movement, here I am going to tell you the story from my side how things were in my city and how people of Sagar responded to it. so our town is beautifully surrounded by greenery, with hills, agriculture crops. As agriculture is the predominant occupation in Bundelkhand where Sagar is one of the largest wheat-producing district, Sagar Total area sown*(ha) is 710690 ha, and Total area irrigated(ha) is 236635 which around 33.3 % total area sown that is irrigated. so during this lockdown, we have not faced that vast scarcity of grains, and prices were also not inflated that high. Our city people bought all their day to day food supply from local farmers and farmers also understood the situation and didn't try to gain un faithfully profits from the peoples.
So here I am going to tell you about sharbati gehu ( the golden grain ) one of the most demanding wheat in India. Sharbati wheat is a regional variety of atta, derived from the wheat grown in the Sehore, Sagar, and Vidisha regions of MP. Also known as the MP wheat, Sharbati atta is sweeter in taste and better in texture. The grains of Sharbati atta are bigger in size and has a golden sheen to it. Interestingly, Punjab in India is known for the best agricultural products, including wheat. However, the sharbati variant from MP remains a notch up the Punjab variants too. Due to the organic way Sharbati wheat is farmed, it holds an answer to a lot of health issues that are common today. With everyone hankering for a healthier way to eat, Sharbati wheat, by the very virtue of its cultivation, avoid the usage of insecticides and pesticides making it a healthy choice. we should promote these products so that our local farmers get more production demand and eventually more income. which will make him keep farming even in adverse conditions and deliver this magical breed of wheat which will provide us enormous health benefits.
I also want to mention swadeshi mandi which is promoting these kinds of local products and helping India to be a more self-reliant country. I want to request to all citizens of India that please buy your local product, promote the local products, and also support local manufacturers so that we can become a self-reliant nation. I also want you to look for 1/12 mandi sir content, he has beautifully described the details of a local manufacturer, vendors strategies which will help you to understand the local product importance more significantly.
In last i just want to say hindi hai hum hindi hai hum vataan hai hindosta humaara humaara , saare jahan se accha hindusta humaara .. humaara.
